Punjab BTech admission 2022: Registration on class 12 basis begins at ptu.admissions.nic.in
IKGPTU has released the registration form for Punjab BTech admission 2022 based on class 12. Check eligibility criteria to apply for admission.

NEW DELHI : I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) has started the Punjab BTech admission 2022 registration on the basis of 10+2 scores. Students willing to get admission into BTech courses based on 12th merit offered by the participating institutions can now apply online. The Punjab BTech registration 2022 link is available at ptu.admissions.nic.in.

In order to participate in Centralized Online Counselling for Punjab admission 2022, every candidate has to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 2,000. Only those students who will pay the Punjab BTech counselling fee will be allotted a rank and can fill choices of their choice.

Punjab BTech 2022 admission: Eligibility criteria

Applicants should have passed 10+2 examination from a Board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation and a member of Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

Should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR

Students who have passed minimum 3 years Diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. OR

The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.
