Election in Punjab: AAP says it will improve education and generate employment if it comes to power in Punjab.

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal, chief minister of Delhi, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor said that the party will build new schools and generate employment if it comes to power in Punjab.

In a statement released by the AAP, Kejriwal alleged that other political parties have been abusing him and Sardar Bhagwant Mann, AAP’s chief ministerial candidate for Punjab and a Lok Sabha MP. He further said that members of the AAP has been only stating that they have managed schools well in Delhi, and will improve education in Punjab as well if the party is able to form the government. “Just like Delhi, we will develop fantastic schools, hospitals, roads, electricity infrastructure and generate employment in Punjab,” he said.
Kejriwal also talked about the issue of unemployment in Punjab. He said that many children are unemployed and he and his party will provide employment if the people vote for AAP.

“What exactly is our fault? We are travelling around Punjab, holding press conferences and conducting interviews. We are simply stating that we ran good schools in Delhi. Vote for us, and we will improve education in your community as well. All we're saying is that we've done well in Delhi and will do well here as well. Many children are unemployed in this area; we will provide employment..”, he said.
