All candidates who have cleared Uttar Pradesh teachers eligibility test (UPTET) or have a BEd degree can apply for the recruitment, he said. He also promised that the UP teachers recruitment process to fill 97,000 posts will be completed. The party also promised to look into teachers recruitment in private schools.

In addition, the AAP also promised 80% of government jobs in Uttar Pradesh will be reserved for youths of the state. The AAP manifesto said that the Constitution will be taught in the government schools and Shiksha Mitra will be regularised.
