QS Asia Rankings 2025: IIT Bombay emerged as the best institute in India last year.
NEW DELHI: Quacquarelli Symonds will announce the QS Asia University Rankings 2025 tomorrow for the Asia region. The universities across all regions of Asia will be ranked based on their performances in various parameters.
856 institutions from Asia ranked in last year’s QS rankings with China’s Peking University on top. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay remained the best Asian institute in India by securing the 40th rank. A total of 148 universities from India featured in the Asia rankings.
IIT Kharagpur made its debut in last year’s QS World University Rankings: Asia. Among private universities, Chandigarh University grabbed the first spot in India. IITs have been dominating the top ranks in the Asia rankings by QS.

QS Rankings 2025 for Asia region: Eligibility
Institutions from Eastern, Southern, South-Eastern and Central Asia are evaluated for the QS Asia Ranking. The following countries will be participating in the rankings:
