RAS Main exam 2021 to be conducted on March 20, 21

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Administrative Services (Main) Examination 2021 will be conducted on March 20 and 21, officials said on Thursday. Secretary of the Rajasthan State Public Service Commission HL Atal said that after detailed deliberations in the full commission meeting on Wednesday, the schedule of RAS (Main) Examination 2021 was decided. He said that the admit cards for the examination would be uploaded on the website of the Commission in due course and the exam will be held on March 20 and 21.

The Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Main Examination 2021 was to be held on February 25 and 26 but was postponed after a single-judge bench of the Rajasthan High Court set aside the result of Preliminary Examination and directed to declare the revised a result.
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot had recently said that the postponement of the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) mains examination is not in the interest of candidates as it will put financial and mental pressure on them. His remarks had come amid BJP leaders demanding postponement of the examination. Several Congress leaders too have lent support to candidates demanding deferring the exam.

The Rajasthan High Court has recently set aside the result of the RAS preliminary examination, 2021. A single-judge bench directed the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to declare a revised result after getting the disputed questions re-examined by an expert committee. Many candidates who had cleared the exam have been demanding postponement of the RAS (Mains) examination, saying they have not been given enough time to prepare for it.
