Re-NEET 2026 Exam: Expected qualifying cut-off for SC category

Based on past admission trends, the NEET 2026 qualifying cut-off for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates is expected to fall between 107 and 136 marks out of 720, aligning with the 40th percentile requirement. However, qualifying NEET does not guarantee admission to an MBBS programme. Candidates typically need significantly higher scores to secure a seat in a government medical college, with the exact cut-off varying across states, categories, and admission quotas.

June 7, 2026 | 08:00 AM IST

RE-NEET 2026: What score is consider good for SC candidates?

A score of 400 marks in NEET is generally regarded as a reasonable score for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. While it comfortably exceeds the qualifying threshold, securing an MBBS seat through the All India Quota (AIQ) in a government medical college may still be challenging, depending on the year's cut-offs, competition levels, and seat availability.
