The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the re-NEET UG 2026 answer key for over 20 lakh MBBS aspirants. The OMR sheets for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-exam will be issued later after the scanning process is completed, NTA said in an official statement.

Meanwhile, candidates can download the NEET UG 2026 re-exam provisional answer key through the NTA’s official website at neet.nta.nic.in using their application number and password.
Those who find discrepancies in the re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key, can challenge it by submitting their objection through NTA’s official portal by June 28.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong response. No marks will be awarded for unanswere queries.
The NEET question paper had 180 questions for a total of 720 marks across Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) subjects. The NEET Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets are the machine-readable answer sheet in which candidates have recorded their answers.
The re-NEET UG 2026 OMR or answer sheets include details such as candidate’ name, roll number, application number, test booklet code, question-wise responses, exam date and session details.

Here is the formula given below to calculate NEET UG 2026 score.
NEET Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 4) − (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1)
For example, if a candidate has 150 correct answers and 20 incorrect answers, the estimated score will be: (150 × 4) − (20 × 1) = 600 − 20 = 580 marks.
