How difficult was May 3 NEET UG 2026 paper?
The May 3 NEET UG 2026 exam , as per the aspirants, was easy in difficulty level. The Biology section in the question paper was time-consuming. While Physics and Chemistry were termed as moderate and required a clear understanding of concepts and precise calculations.
Moreover, Zoology was straightforward and scoring, whereas Botany had easy concepts, and was time-consuming due to its length.
The earlier NEET UG 2026 examination was held on May 3 for MBBS admissions , with a turnaround of approximately 22.79 candidates. However, a few days after the exam, a Rajasthan Special Operations Group (RSOP) claimed that the security of the NEET UG 2026 question paper had been compromised several days before the medical exam took place.
According to a report by RSOP, a question paper containing more than 100 similar questions identical to the original NEET UG 2026 paper was shared with several MBBS aspirants as a “guess paper.”
Consequently, the NTA was forced to cancel the exam for all candidates.
