Re-NEET UG 2026 result declared at neet.nta.nic.in; 11.21 lakh qualify

Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the Re-National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (Re-NEET UG) 2026 results on the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in. Over 20 lakh applicants can check the Re-NEET scores by using the details, including application number, password/date of birth & security pin. 138 candidates scored above 690 marks out of 720. Of these over 93 per cent appeared for NEET (UG) for the first time, 99 per cent are between 17 and 19 years of age. NEET result LIVE updates.
Along with the NEET UG result 2026, the agency has also released the cut-off list on the official website. The NEET UG 2026 re-examination was held on June 21, and the OMR sheet was released on July 13, 2026.

Women candidates outperform men
Women accounted for more than 58 per cent of the candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026. They also recorded a higher qualification rate than men, with 56.8 per cent of female candidates clearing the examination compared to 55.1 per cent of male candidates.

RE-NEET score distribution
The highest score of 715 out of 720 was obtained jointly by Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana).

Students found the Re-NEET UG 2026 paper to be of moderate difficulty . Physics was the lengthiest section, while Biology was largely NCERT-based and Chemistry was moderate.
Steps to check NEET UG 2026 result online
Candidates can follow these steps to check and download the NEET UG 2026 result:
- Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "NEET UG 2026 Result" or "Re-NEET UG 2026 Scorecard" link on the homepage
- Enter your application number, password or date of birth, and the security pin displayed on the screen
- Your NEET UG 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen
- Check your marks, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), and qualifying status
- Download and print the scorecard for future references
From 2027 onwards, NEET will be conducted in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. The announcement was made soon after the May 3 NEET UG 2026 exam was cancelled due to paper leak allegations.
Meanwhile, NMC has announced 1,36,939 MBBS seats for the 2026-27 admission cycle , adding 9,911 new seats. Over 78% of the increase is in private medical colleges.
