REET 2021 exam postponed amid surge in COVID-19 cases
The Department of Education, Rajasthan through their official Twitter handle shared that the REET 2021 exam scheduled to held in June stands postponed.
NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) which was scheduled to be held on June 20, 2021, has been postponed in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus, said the Department of Education, Rajasthan in a tweet. REET 2021 exam dates are likely to be announced after the COVID-19 situation normalises.
Earlier, the REET exam which was scheduled to be conducted on April 25 was shifted to June 20, 2021.
The information was released through the official Twitter handle of the Department of Education, Rajasthan. The tweet also shared a newspaper report that said the Rajasthan education minister, Govind Singh Dotasra, had officially announced the same.

The highly awaited exam was to be conducted on June 20, 2021, across major exam centres in Rajasthan. REET is conducted to make candidates eligible to apply for the post of primary and secondary class teachers in Rajasthan. As reported earlier, a record number of 13.80 lakh students filled the REET application form.
REET application form was released on January 11, 2021, online on the official website - rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The notification of REET was released on January 5, 2021.
