RGIPT opens B.Tech 2026 admissions through JEE Advanced scores. Check eligibility, fees, seat matrix, documents and key dates

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) has opened the registration process for the RGIPT B.Tech 2026 today, June 1, 2026 on the official website of RGIPT at rgipt.ac.in.

The application fee for women candidates across all categories is Rs. 600 plus Rs. 108 GST, taking the total payable amount to Rs. 708. Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay Rs. 1,200 plus Rs. 216 GST, making the total fee Rs. 1,416. Meanwhile, applicants from the SC, ST and PwD categories need to pay Rs. 600 along with Rs. 108 GST, bringing the total application fee to Rs. 708.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2026 and secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and one additional subject considered for the calculation. Applicants belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories are eligible for a relaxation, requiring a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Foreign nationals will be considered for admission under a separate set of admission guidelines and provisions.

RGIPT B.Tech 2026 Application Form: Steps to fill

To fill out the RGIPT B.Tech 2026 application form, follow these steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of RGIPT at rgipt.ac.in
  • Make the payment using credit card/debit card/net banking/NEFT or offline through SBI e-challan
  • Finish the registration form using the fee payment details and generate login credentials
  • Log in and fill out the application form with personal, academic and contact information
  • Upload the needed documents and then review
  • Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference

RGIPT B.Tech 2026 Registration: Required Documents

Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of several documents during the application process. These include a recent passport-size photograph, signature, Class 10 marksheet or certificate, Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate, JEE Main scorecard, and JEE Advanced scorecard. Applicants claiming reservation benefits must also upload valid category certificates, while PwD candidates need to submit a disability certificate. All documents should be clear, legible, and uploaded in the prescribed format and file size specified by the institute.
