RRB ALP 2018 Second Stage exam likely to commence from November 19

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 24: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are likely to conduct the second stage exam from November 19. This has been confirmed by an official of RRB Allahabad. The admit card for appearing in the second stage will be issued to the qualified candidates of first stage fours days before their scheduled exam. Over 9,65,565 candidates are expected to appear for the second stage exam.
Candidates have to download their admit card online by logging with their user ID and password. The admit card will contain details like exam date, time, centre of second stage CBT.
RRB ALP 2018 second stage is divided into two parts – Part A and B. As per the exam pattern, Part A will consists of 100 objective type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. Candidates will get 90 minutes to answer questions from Part A of second stage. Part B of Second Stage will carry 75 questions based on their relevant disciplines. This part will be held for 60 minutes.
The qualifying marks prescribed for Part A of second stage is 40% for general category while it is 30% each for OBC and SC. The qualifying marks for ST is 25%. The qualifying marks announced for Part B is 35 % for all categories. Candidates will be selected for the next round of selection process based on their marks of Part A only. The Part B is qualifying in nature.
RRB ALP 2018 result of first stage will be declared by October 31. Based on the result of first stage candidates will be selected for the second stage. RRB ALP recruitment exam is conducted to select candidates for the posts of Technicians and Assistant Loco Pilots. As many as 62,371 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment exam.
