RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 schedule out; exam on December 20

RRB NTPC 2025 admit card will be issued 4 days before the exam date, and the city intimation slip will be available 10 days in advance.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the exam date for the RRB undergraduate (UG) CBT 2 exam 2025 for the post of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). As per the schedule, the RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 exam will be held on December 20.
Candidates who qualified in CBT 1 are eligible for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam. The city intimation slips and travel authority for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be available for download 10 days before the exam date.
The admit card for RRB NTPC undergraduate CBT 2 will be issued 4 days prior to the exam date.
“As Aadhaar-linked biometric verification will be done, candidates must carry their original or e-verified Aadhaar to the examination centre”, the notice added.
“Candidates who have not yet completed Aadhaar verification must log in to the website rrbapply.gov.in with their credentials to ensure smooth entry into the exam centre”, the notification reads.
The notice states that all candidates– including those who completed Aadhaar verification during the application process– must ensure that their Aadhaar remains unlocked in the UIDAI system before arriving at the exam centre to ensure smooth registration and exam-day procedures.
RRB NTPC Recruitment 2025: Undergraduate posts offers
The following positions will be offered to candidates who qualify for the RRB NTPC undergraduate exam 2025:
- Trains Clerk
- Commercial cum Ticket Clerk
- Junior Clerk cum Typist
- Accounts Clerk cum Typist
- Junior Time Keeper
RRB NTPC offers a starting salary of Rs 19,900 for undergraduate positions, while the salary for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk positions is Rs 21,700.

The recruitment board aims to fill 3,445 vacancies across undergraduate-level posts, including 2,022 positions for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 990 for Junior Clerk cum Typist, 361 for Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and 72 for Trains Clerk.
The recruitment drive declared the RRB NTPC UG CBT 1 result on November 21. As per the data, a total of 20,887 candidates have qualified for stage 2 across the regions.
