RRC ECR Recruitment 2023: Application begins for 1,832 apprenticeship posts

NEW DELHI: Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway (RRC ECR) has invited online applications for the apprentice positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the apprentice positions on the RRC official website at rrcecr.gov.in.

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years old to be eligible for apply.

A total of 1,832 posts will be filled through the recruitment drive. Candidates can check the post-wise vacancy below.

Danapur division: 675

Deen dayal upadhyaya division: 518

Dhanbad division: 156

Plant depot or deen dayal upadhyaya: 135

Carriage repair workshop: 110

Mechanical workshop: 110

Samastipur division: 81

Sonpur division: 47

Candidates who are not covered under SC, ST, or OBC and have a household income of less than Rs 8 lakh will be recognised as EWS for reservation.

Candidates should have passed the Class 10 examination or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board and ITI in relevant trade - national trade or provisional certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the RRC ECR recruitment 2023.

  • Go to the RRC official website at rrcecr.gov.in.

  • On the homepage, click on the registration option.

  • Fill the registration form by entering details such as name, email id, contact information.

  • Next, login by entering credentials generated during registration.

  • Fill in the application form with required details.

  • Upload required documents and pay the fees.

  • Download and take a printout of the confirmation page.
