Sagar Public School organises investiture ceremony to inculcate leadership

NEW DELHI, JULY 9: Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar organized its much eagerly awaited Investiture Ceremony of the students council for the year 2018-19. Shri Prafull Kumar Singh, Second in Command, SSB Academy, Bhopal was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The Investiture Ceremony is held every year to inculcate leadership and responsibilities amongst students to deliver the true meaning of democracy with learning’s of equality to everyone.
The ceremony commenced with ceremonial welcome by a sapling followed by prayer, lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest in presence of Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal, Managing Director, Sagar Group and welcome song by the school choir group. Principal, Sagar Public School Gandhi Nagar, Dr. Jaishree Kanwar in her welcome address applauded the school students and teachers for registering merit rankings and achieving 100% results.
She also congratulated the council members and reminded to fulfill duties at all times with earnestness and passion. Addressing the gathering, she said, “We all should work with conviction and must endeavor to bring the potential of children to touch new heights.” An oath taking ceremony marked the day of all the office-bearers of 2018-19 with office bearers marching confidently and smartly to the tunes of school band. They all took an oath to uphold the motto of school ‘Humanity Is Our Religion, Nation Is Our Pride’ in high esteem followed by conferring of badges and sashes by the Chief Guest. Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal, Managing Director, Sagar Group congratulated the Principal, Teachers and Students on successful conduction of ceremony to form an active student council.
Speaking on the occasion, Prafull Kumar Singh, Second in Command, SSB Academy, Bhopal said that, “I congratulate the school and the council for their new roles to implement discipline in life. I appreciate the sincere efforts of students and teachers of the school for their contribution to the society. Such ceremonies bring in discipline and inculcate responsibilities amongst the students. Appointed council members should lead by examples and must transmit perseverance, patriotism and punctuality to other students to make everyone successful. “
Ceremony concluded with award ceremony to meritorious students for excellence in performance in academics and extra co-curricular activities. School Topper Ms Trisha Agrawal was awarded with cash price of Rs 50,000/- along with certificate whereas Priya Badola received ‘Shanta Samman’ with a cash prize of Rs 5000/- and certificate. Prizes and certificates to other toppers of subjects were also awarded with certificates. March-past by the cabinet wrapped up the ceremony.
