NEW DELHI: State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the exam dates for the Probationary Officer (PO) 2024 recruitment exam. As per the official announcement, the SBI PO 2024 preliminary exam will take place on March 8, 16, 24.
“The call letters with exact date and time, will be released, shortly,” the official notice said. Eligible candidates who have filled out the application form will be able to download the SBI PO 2025 call letter through the official website at sbi.co.in.
The official SBI PO notification initially stated that the prelims admit card would be released in the third or fourth week of February 2025. The phase 2 (main) exam is scheduled to take place in April or May 2025.
The SBI recruitment drive aims to fill 600 probationary officer vacancies. These include 240 positions for Unreserved (UR), 158 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 87 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 57 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 58 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

The SBI PO 2025 Phase 1 or preliminary exam will have three sections, with a total of 100 marks allotted for the prelims. The exam will be conducted for a total duration of one hour, with 20 minutes allocated to each section. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in preliminary, main and interview.
