Uttarakhand: With the implementation of the bill, the Madrasa Education Board Act, 2016, and the non-government Arabic and Persian Madrasa Recognition Rules, 2019, will expire on July 1, 2026.

Uttar Pradesh: The Governor launched several initiatives, such as HPV vaccine dosage for 5,000 girls in government schools and mid-day meals at the anganwadi centres.
The programme will be held in 2 phases. 100 computer science teachers will be trained in phase 1 and other subject teachers in phase 2.
Students from Classes 6 to 12 can form teams and develop ideas under four national themes. Schools will submit entries as photos and videos, with top teams receiving prizes and mentorship.
Admissions for the academic year 2025-26 under the Right to Education Act will be held from October 6 to 17. The Centre has released Rs 450 crore for reimbursing private school tuition fees.
The Baramulla CEO has been attached with the Directorate of School Education Kashmir pending inquiry. The circular warned staff against posting inappropriate content. PDP leader Waheed Para criticised the order and demanded its revocation.
