Uttarakhand: With the implementation of the bill, the Madrasa Education Board Act, 2016, and the non-government Arabic and Persian Madrasa Recognition Rules, 2019, will expire on July 1, 2026.
Karnataka: The department has altered the school timings to 8 am to 1 pm, when it reopens on October 8 after the Dussehra holidays, to allow teachers to complete the survey work.

Uttar Pradesh: The Governor launched several initiatives, such as HPV vaccine dosage for 5,000 girls in government schools and mid-day meals at the anganwadi centres.
The programme will be held in 2 phases. 100 computer science teachers will be trained in phase 1 and other subject teachers in phase 2.
Admissions for the academic year 2025-26 under the Right to Education Act will be held from October 6 to 17. The Centre has released Rs 450 crore for reimbursing private school tuition fees.
