Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Candidates can apply for SECR apprentice recruitment 2024 through the official website, secr.indianrailways.gov.in.
NEW DELHI: South East Central Railway has invited applications from candidates for the recruitment of various trade apprentice posts. Interested candidates can apply for Railway apprentice recruitment 2024 through the official website, secr.indianrailways.gov.in.
According to the official notification, the Railway apprentice application process commenced on March 12 and candidates will be able to apply online till April 12, 2024.
The Railway recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 733 Apprentice vacancies in the department. Of these, there are 296 vacancies for unreserved or general category, 74 for EWS, 197 for OBC, 113 for SC, and 53 for ST categories.
SECR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Interested candidate must have completed Class 10 and obtained an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in a relevant trade as the minimum educational qualification. Apart from this, candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of April 12, 2024.

SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The South Eastern Central Railway's Apprentice selection process will be done based upon candidates' performance in the matriculation examination. A comprehensive merit list with candidates' scores from the qualifying examination for trade apprenticeship appointments is expected to be issued around May 2024. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the document verification round before the final selection is made.
