Through this study centre, students should learn about the culture and religion of Jainism. Even the students studying at Sharda University can opt for the Jain subject as an additional course, which will be beneficial for them.
Sharda University pro-chancellor YK Gupta said: "About 1250 beds are run in Sharda Medical college and we are targeting to increase another 1200 beds in the next two years. This is going to be the biggest hospital in North India. We are working towards it and will be gaining strong visibility at the global level in coming years".
On the occasion, Nityanand propagated spiritual and motivational thoughts among the students present there. Presiding over the inaugural ceremony, he said: "Sharda University has made an immense contribution in the field of education. Sharda has always been associated with Jainism and this is the reason why good values can be seen in students as well. Education and culture are an important part of a student's life and are very important to their development. There are many free treatments in Sharda hospital and through this, they are contributing by serving the people. Service to the patients is considered as one of the greatest services".
