South Asian University admission 2023 registration for PG, PhD opens; Apply by March 31

Candidates will be selected for the SAU courses on the basis of an entrance test which will be held on April 29 and April 30.

NEW DELHI: The South Asian University is currently accepting applications for its postgraduate and PhD programmes for the 2023-24 academic session. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application form through the official website- web.sau.int. The last date to apply is March 31, 2023.

SAU offers masters and PhD level programmes in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Economics, International Relations, Legal Studies, Mathematics and Sociology.

Candidates will be selected for the SAU courses on the basis of an entrance test. The university will hold the entrance examination on April 29 and April 30, 2023. The fee for appearing in the entrance test is Rs 800. The schedule of the entrance tests is spread over two days, three sessions each.

A student can register for as many programmes as he or she desires subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria and as long as the entrance test timings do not clash. For each programme, a separate application is required to be filled out.

SAU Admission 2023: Steps to apply

  • First, visit the official website- web.sau.int
  • Then on the homepage, click on the 'ADMISSIONS' tab and then on 'Admission Notice 2023'.
  • Click on 'Apply Now' and complete the registration process.
  • Login and fill out the application form.
  • Upload the necessary documents, pay the application fee and submit the form.
  • At last, download the confirmation page and take a printout of it.

Candidates will be allotted to the test centre as chosen by them at the time of filling up the application form. However, if the number of candidates at any centre becomes too low, then the candidates from that centre will be transferred to the next nearest centre.
