SRCC Placements 2021: Students bag 25 lakh annual package

NEW DELHI: Over 130 offers were made to students in the first phase of Shri Ram College of Commerce placement drive with the highest package reaching upto Rs 25 lakhs.
The highest package in placement drive conducted between September and December 2020 was offered by a global financial firm. A total of 24 recruiters participated in the SRCC placements 2021 and the average annual compensation rose to Rs 9.8 lakh this year.
Further, this hiring season saw a 110 percent increase in the number of offers extended in the finance sector. Job offers from other sectors also witnessed an upward trend despite the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions.
Consulting firms like McKinsey and Company, Bain Capability Network, financial institutions like Deutsche Bank, Citibank, and several first time highest category recruiters including Kepler Cannon, Accenture Strategy recruited SRCC students for multiple business domains.
In addition, summer internships at SRCC also recorded an increase of 142 percent and pre-placement offers increased to an all-time high of 22 during the first phase.
“Given the economic slowdown, we are extremely proud of having been able to continue strengthening our recruiter pool thereby bringing an array of diverse opportunities for our candidates,” said Amanpreet Kaur, Convener, of the SRCC placement cell.
