SSC CGL 2021: Candidates should apply 'much before' deadline, says commission

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has asked the aspiring candidates for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2021) to submit their online application before the final date of submission. The commission has advised candidates to complete the application process well in advance as the traffic might get heavy on the servers during the closing date. The last date to apply for the SSC CGL exam is January 23, 2022.

“Not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection or inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavy traffic on the servers during the closing days, “ said SSC in an official notification.

The chances of candidates being unable to finish the application process is high during the last date. Many candidates will be applying for the exam at the same time, and this results in the servers running low. This could prevent the candidates from logging in.

The SSC released the application form on the SSC CGL official website on December 23, 2021. The application can be submitted at ssc.nic.in.

The SSC CGL CBT 1 exam will be held from April 2022. The exam date of SSC CGL CBT 2 will be announced later.

Candidates should follow the following steps to submit the SSC CGL 2022 application form:

• Visit the SSC CGL official website - ssc.nic.in.
• Click on the ‘new registration’ option
• Generate login id and password by typing required details.
• Login to SSC CGL portal and fill the form
• Pay the application fee.
