SSC CGL 2024 admit card out at ssc.gov.in; check application status

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 admit card. The SSC CGL admit card tier 1 has been issued region-wise. As per the official website, the SSC CGL 2024 admit cards have been issued for all regions except Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttarakhand regions.

Candidates who have completed the application process for SSC CGL 2024 can now download their admit card from the official regional websites. To access the official links for each region, candidates should visit the SSC's main website at ssc.gov.in. Additionally, they can also check the status of their application on the same platform.

To check the application status and to download the SSC CGL 2024 admit card, candidates can use their registration number, roll number, or name. They will need to enter their date of birth and other required details to download their admit card.

The SSC CGL 2024 admit card will include details including the candidate's name, father's name, roll number, address, date of birth, caste category, exam date, exam centre address, and reporting time. Candidates should bring their SSC CGL 2024 admit card along with a photograph and original government ID such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID and driving license at the exam centre.

The SSC CGL 2024 tier 1 exam is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 26 in multiple shifts. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 17,727 vacancies in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts.

SSC CGL 2024: Exam pattern

The SSC CGL tier 1 exam will have four sections, carrying a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a maximum score of 200 marks. The entire exam must be completed within 60 minutes. The tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature and marks obtained in tier-1 will not be considered in the final selection process. Candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer, while 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
