SSC CGL 2024 registration begins for 17,727 vacancies; schedule, age limit
SSC CGL Notification 2024: The last date to submit the application form for the recruitment exam is July 24. Applicants will have to register at the official website, ssc.gov.in.

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2024) registration process today to fill 17,727 vacancies in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different ministries, departments, and organizations of Government of India and various other statutory bodies. Along with the SSC CGL application form 2024, the commission has also uploaded the information brochure at ssc.gov.in.
Applicants will be given a month’s time to complete the SSC CGL registration 2024. The last date to fill the application form at the official website is July 24. SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2024 is tentatively scheduled to be held in September-October 2024 and tier 2 in December.
“All the candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice and have not generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in) will be required to do so as the earlier OTR generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional for the new website,” it informed.
SSC CGL schedule 2024
Applicants will have to pay Rs 100 as registration fee. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

SSC CGL age limit 2024
The age limit differs for various posts. Candidates should meet the age requirement as on August 1, 2024. Relaxation in upper age limit of 5 years will be given to SC, ST candidates, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (unreserved), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and 3 years for ex-Servicemen (ESM) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
