NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the marks of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 exams for all candidates. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination can check their SSC CGL tier 1 marks 2024 through the official website at ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL tier 1 marks 2024 will be available till December 31, 2024 up to 6 pm.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to access the SSC CGL tier 1 marks 2024. The SSC CGL result 2024 for tier 1 was announced on December 3. As per the official notice, a total of 1,86,509 candidates have qualified in the SSC CGL tier 1 exam and are eligible to appear for tier 2 exam.
“The marks of shortlisted and not-shortlisted candidates have been hosted on the Commission’s website i.e. https://ssc.gov.in. Candidates may check their individual marks from 16.12.2024 (6:00 PM) to 31.12.2024 (6:00 PM) by logging-in through their Registered ID and Password on the website of the Commission”, the official notice read.
The SSC CGL recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different ministries/departments/organisations of the Government of India.
SSC CGL 2024 tier 1 passing marks
The SSC CGL tier 1 exam consisted of objective-type, multiple-choice questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section had 25 questions, and the maximum mark in a section was 50. The questions were in both English and Hindi language except for the English Comprehension section.
The pass marks for the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination are generally as follows:
- 30% for Unreserved (UR) candidates.
- 25% for OBC and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates.
- 20% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
Meanwhile, the commission has already released the dates of the tier 2 exam dates. The SSC CGL tier 2 exam will be conducted on January 18, 19, and 20, 2025.
