NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to declare the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2024) tier 1 results soon along with the final answer key. SSC CGL tier 1 result 2024 link will be hosted on the official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates will be able to download the results using their registration number and password.

The commission conducted the CGL tier 1 exams from September 9 to September 26 at various exam centres across the country. The recruitment is held for group B and group C posts under departments, ministries of the Government of India. All candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to appear for SSC CGL tier 2 exam.

The SSC will conduct the physical tests and medical standards for eight posts namely - Inspector (Central Excise)-CBIC, Inspector (Examiner)-CBIC, Inspector (Preventive Officer)-CBIC, Inspector-CBN, Sub-Inspector-CBN, Ministry of Finance, Sub-Inspector/ Junior Intelligence Officer in NCB, MHA, Sub-Inspector-CBI, and Sub-Inspector-NIA.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Results 2024: Educational qualification

Junior Statistical Officer - Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in mathematics at Class 12. OR, BA degree in any subject with statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II - Bachelor’s degree in any subject with statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized university. They should have studied statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) - Along with the bachelor’s degree, candidates with minimum one-year research experience are preferred. Those who have completed a degree in law or human rights from a recognized university are also eligible.

All other posts - Should have done a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.

How to check SSC CGL tier 1 results 2024?

  • Visit the SSC new official website, ssc.gov.in.
  • Click on the SSC CGL tier 1 exam result 2024 link (not activated yet).
  • On the SSC CGL result link, enter your registration number, password, and captcha code.
  • Submit the login credentials entered.
  • SSC CGL tier 1 final result will be displayed.
  • Check the qualifying status and details mentioned on the scorecard.
  • Download the CGL tier 1 qualifying certificate and save it for future reference.

SSC CGL Result 2024: Selection process

The SSC will be conducting the CGL exam 2024 in two phases - tier 1 and tier 2 - for recruitment of group B and group C posts. Those who qualify the CGL tier 1 exams will have to appear in tier 2 exams, which will include a Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) or typing test followed by medical and physical test for a total of 8 posts. The SSC CGL final results 2024 will be declared based on merit-cum-preferences of posts given by the candidates. Candidature will be rejected if any one of the eligibility criteria is not met.
