NEW DELHI : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to declare the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 result soon. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download the SSC CGL tier 1 result 2024 by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the SSC CGL 2024 tier 1 result. The commission will issue the CGL tier 1 final answer key along with the result. SSC CGL pre result 2024 will be prepared and declared on the basis of the SSC CGL final answer key.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted from September 9 to September 26. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 17,727 vacancies in group b, c posts in various government departments. The commission will conduct SSC CGL 2024 tier 2 exam on January 18, 19, 20.

SSC CGL 2024 Result: Punishment for malpractice in exam
If candidates are found engaging in any malpractices at any stage of the exam, their candidature will be cancelled, and they will be barred from appearing in future examinations for the specified period.

SSC CGL Pre Result 2024: Tie-breaking criteria
In the event that two candidates score the same marks in the SSC CGL 2024 exam, the tie will be resolved based on the following criteria:
- Marks obtained in Paper 2 of the Tier 2 examination for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) or Statistical Investigator Grade 2, if applicable.
- Marks scored in Section 1 of Paper 1 of the Tier 2 examination.
- Date of birth, with the older candidate placed higher.
- Alphabetical order of the candidates' names.

A deduction of 0.50 marks will be made for each incorrect answer. Candidates must add the marks for all correct answers and subtract the penalties for incorrect responses.
