SSC exam calendar 2024 revised due to Lok Sabha polls 2024; CHSL paper 1 from July 1 to 12

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the dates of various upcoming exams due to the Lok Sabha Election 2024, which is scheduled from April 19 to June 4. The commission will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL 2024) Paper 1 on July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contracts) Examination 2024 paper 1 has been postponed to June 5, 6 and 7. The exam was scheduled to be held on June 4, 5 and 6. Paper 1 of Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Force Sub-inspector 2024 paper 1 has been rescheduled from May 9, 10 and 13 to June 27, 28 and 29. The SSC said it will conduct Selection Post Examination Phase XII 2024 paper 1 on June 25, 26 and 27. It was scheduled for May 6, 7 and 8.
CHSL 2024 notification
The commission will soon release the CHSL notification 2024 at ssc.gov.in and the application process will also be started. Candidates will be able to submit the application form of SSC CHSL Exam 2024 in online mode only. The SSC CHSL 2024 registration will be closed on May 1.

As per a recent notification, candidates will have to complete one-time registration (OTR) on the commission’s new website. OTR completed in the old website will not be considered valid. The new application portal will have a provision to capture live photographs of the candidates. “In the new application module, live photographs of the candidates will be captured for which either a webcam on computer/laptop or an android device can be used,” the notification read.
