NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2025 notification today, September 4. As per the SSC GD 2025 notification, a total of 39,481 vacancies has been announced. The SSC GD 2025 registration process commenced from today. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for SSC GD 2025 recruitment by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in.
As per the official notification the SSC GD 2025 registration deadline is October 14. However, the SSC GD 2025 registration fee deadline is October 15. As per the SSC GD 2025 official notification, candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their application form by paying a fee from November 5, 2024. The SSC GD 2025 form correction facility will close on November 7. As per the SSC GD 2025 schedule, the exam will be held in January- February. The SSC GD 2025 exam date is yet to be announced.
The SSC GD 2025 selection process includes Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and the medical examination. The following posts will be offered through SSC GD 2025 recruitment drive.

As per the SSC GD 2025 schedule, the CBT will be held in January or February. The SSC GD 2025 exam will be divided into four parts- general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and general awareness, elementary mathematics and English or Hindi. The duration of each section in SSC GD 2025 exam is 60 minutes. Each section carries 20 questions. Candidates will get 2 marks for each correct answer and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
