SSC MTS, Havaldar 2023 result soon at ssc.nic.in; qualifying marks, cut-off criteria

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon declare the result of the Multi Tasking Staff (SSC MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) exam 2023 soon. Candidates who appeared for SSC MTS and Havaldar (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and Central Bureau of Narcotics) 2023 Session II exam will be able to get their score card on the official website, ssc.nic.in.

Applicants of unreserved category will have to secure 30% marks for qualifying the SSC MTS and Havaldar (CBIC, CBN) Exam 2023. Those belonging from OBC and EWS categories will have to get 25% marks while applicants from remaining categories, including SC and ST, will have to get 20% marks to qualify the paper.

The commission in its notification said it will release separate category-wise and state-wise cut-offs for the SSC MTS Session II exam. As the vacancies for MTS are in two age groups – 18 to 25 years and 18 to 27 years – the SSC may fix separate age group-wise, category-wise and State-wise cut-offs. The merit list would be prepared solely based on performance in the Session II exam, the SSC said.

A total of 3,015 candidates have qualified the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)for the posts of Havaldar.

SSC MTS, Havaldar 2023: Resolution of tie cases

If more than one candidate secures equal aggregate marks then the tie will be resolved by following methods

• Candidates with higher marks in general awareness of Session II exam will be placed higher.
• If the tie persists, the total marks in Session I exam will be taken in account
• In case the tie still exists then candidate older in gets preference
• If tie is still not broken then alphabetical order of the names will form the basis.
