NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration window for stenographer recruitment 2024 today, August 17. Eligible candidates can apply for the SSC Stenographer 2024 exam through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 2,006 vacancies to be filled for Grade C and Grade D stenographer posts. As per the official notice, the SSC stenographer exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October – November.
Candidates will have to pay the SSC Stenographer application fee of Rs 100. Whereas women candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fees.
The commission will open the SSC Stenographer 2024 application correction facility for two days on August 27 and 28. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to make changes in the SSC CGL application form.
To be eligible for the SSC Stenographer 2024 exam, candidates must meet the following age criteria.

SSC Stenographer Grade C: The candidate's age should be between 18 years old and 30 years old to be eligible for the SSC stenographer 2024 grade C exam. Candidates must be born on or after August 2, 1994, and on or before August 1, 2006, to be eligible to apply.

SSC Stenographer Grade D: The candidates must lie within the age limit of 18 years old and 27 years old to be eligible for the SSC stenographer 2024 grade D exam. Candidates must be born on or after August 2, 1998, and on or before August 1, 2007, to be eligible to apply.
