Study abroad fair for Bengaluru students on August 31; UK, US, Australia among top destination choices

NEW DELHI: Study Abroad platform LeapScholar is organizing a student fair in Bengaluru on Saturday, August 31. Around 100 universities from around the world are expected to participate in the fair, allowing more than 2,000 students and parents to discover the top universities and programmes of their choice.

Students will also be able to avail spot admissions and scholarship opportunities after an on-spot assessment based on their academic profile, adds the official statement. The event is scheduled to take place at Taj, MG Road, Bangalore, from 10 am to 4 pm.

“University experts will provide personalized counseling to guide students and families in choosing the right path for their study abroad journey. This is complemented by value-added services such as IELTS preparation, financial counseling & education loans, accommodation, and more for all attendees,” the statement said.

Students willing to study abroad and parents interested in gaining a deeper understanding of overseas education can attend the fair. Registration for the programme is free and can be done through the website or by direct walk-ins, adds the official statement.

Study abroad fair: Participating Universities

According to the official statement, “Some of the top participating universities across countries include the University of New Haven, Northeastern University, Queen Mary University of London, Oxford Brookes University, University of Birmingham, National College Of Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, University of Auckland, etc,”

“Some of the top destinations preferred by students from Karnataka include countries like the US, UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Most applications received from the state are for postgraduate degrees in engineering, data science, business analytics, global business, and marketing among others,” adds the official statement.

As per the official statement, Bengaluru has witnessed an increase in the number of students willing for global education.
