Study Abroad: University of Sheffield to offer 125 PG scholarships worth GBP 5,000
The registration for University of Sheffield scholarship in late autumn 2023. The applications will be accepted till May 13.

NEW DELHI: The University of Sheffield , UK will offer 125 International Postgraduate (PG) Taught Merit Scholarships in 2024. The scholarship will carry a cash award worth UK Pound 5,000 towards the original tuition fee for a postgraduate programme in 2024.
The classes of programmes will start in September 2024. The scholarships are available to all new international students who meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates whose programme will start in autumn 2024 and have received an offer for a course studied in full at the University of Sheffield are eligible for the scholarships. Masters programmes split between the University of Sheffield and a partner institution are not eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Students who are pursuing distance learning courses, and crossways courses and Erasmus Mundus courses are ineligible for a merit scholarship. Students applying for the scholarships should be self-funded and required to pay the overseas tuition fee. They should not be sponsored students.
The application process for the scholarship will open in late autumn 2023. Students can apply for the scholarship till 1 PM (UK time) on May 13, 2024.

The scholarship results will be announced on Monday June 10, 2024. Students offered the scholarship will be asked to accept the offer by a fixed date, the university said.

It is among the top 50 most international universities in the world, according to data from the 2023 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The University is ranked 46th in the world.
