The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January semester admit card 2026 on the official website of NTA SWAYAM at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam. To download the SWAYAM hall ticket, candidates need to enter the details, including application number and password.
The NTA SWAYAM January semester exam will be conducted on June 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2026. The examinations will be held for a total of 900 courses across the country. For smooth conduct of the exams, around 200 SWAYAM exam centres have been allotted by the authorities.
The authority has already released the SWAYAM exam advance city intimation slip 2026 on the official website. After downloading the slip, candidates should verify their photograph and signature. In case either the photo or signature is missing, they are advised to download the slip again to ensure it is complete and valid.

SWAYAM January Semester Admit Card 2026: Steps to download
To download the SWAYAM hall ticket 2026, applicants can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official SWAYAM portal at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam
- Click on the admit card link and log in using application number or registered email ID and password
- After successful login, the admit card will be displayed on the screen
- Select the “Download Admit Card” option from the dashboard
- Check all details carefully for accuracy
- Download and take a printout of the SWAYAM admit card/hall ticket 2026 for exam day use
SWAYAM Admit Card 2026: Instructions
As per the official notice, the instructions for SWAYAM admit card are as follows:
- The admit card is issued on a provisional basis to candidates, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility conditions
- The admit card will not be dispatched through post or any offline mode
- Candidates must ensure that no changes or alterations are made to the admit card once issued, and it should not be defaced or tampered with
- Issuance of the admit card does not automatically confirm final eligibility, which will be verified at later stages of the admission/certification process
- Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy of the admit card safely for future reference and examination purposes

SWAYAM January Semester 2026: Exam pattern
The SWAYAM examination will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, while some courses may follow a hybrid format combining CBT with pen-and-paper mode, depending on the subject. Each paper will be conducted for a duration of three hours. The question paper will primarily be set in English, except for language-specific programmes.

For most subjects, the exam is of 100 marks, though the structure differs across courses. In some cases, the paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each, while in others, there will be 50 MCQs with two marks allotted per question. For select courses conducted in hybrid mode, the paper may include a combination of MCQs along with short-answer and long-answer type questions.
