Symbiosis International, Deakin University introduce dual degree global BBA programme

SIU: Students will get two recognised degrees in BBA honors or honors with research from SIU and a business analytics degree from Deakin University, Australia. Apply by August 2.
The Symbiosis International (Deemed ) University in partnership with Deakin University Australia has introduced a dual degree BBA programme. Interested students will earn two recognised degrees in BBA honours or honours with research from SIU and a business analytics degree from Deakin University.
The last date for the BBA dual degree programme registration is August 2. The list of shortlisted candidates for personal interaction (PI) will be announced on August 5 on the official website of the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS), Pune.
The online PI for the shortlisted candidates will be held between August 11 to 14, which will include the document verification process. The merit list will be announced on August 20.
According to the official SIU,
Deakin University
press release, to be eligible for the programme, candidates should have qualified Class 12 or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognised board, council, or university with a minimum of 50% marks.

Dual-degree international BBA
The dual-degree international BBA programme allows students to pursue their education across three countries:
- First year in SCMS Pune/SCMS Noida
- Second year in Symbiosis Dubai
- Third and fourth years in Deakin University, Australia
Additionally, candidates who had already registered and paid for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2025 earlier can enrol for the global BBA by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1000 via the SET registration portal. Candidates who have not registered for SET 2025 can apply by paying the programme registration fee of Rs 1500 per programme.
The director of SCMS Pune Adya Sharma said: “Our students asked for borderless education; this programme is the answer. Together with Deakin, we’re cultivating future business leaders with an expansive global mindset.”
