Tamil Literary Aptitude Test 2023 notification out; exam on October 28

TLAT 2023: The state government will select 1,500 Class 11 students who will get a monthly stipend of Rs 1,600 for two years.
NEW DELHI: Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has issued the notification for Tamil Language Literary Proficiency Test 2023. Class 11 students can register for Tamil Literary Aptitude Test 2023 through the official webiste, dge.tn.gov.in.
The TLAT 2023 is scheduled to held on October 15 across the state. Through this test, Tamil Nadu government will select 1,500 Class 11 students who will get a monthly stipend of Rs 1,600 for two years.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will open the TLAT 2023 registration window on September 5. Candidates should note that the last date to register for Tamil Literary Aptitude Test 2023 is September 20. Students have to fill the application form and hand it over to school principals with a fee of Rs 50.
TLAT 2023: Eligibility
All Class 11 students studying in recognized schools, including schools affiliated to CBSE and ICSE in Tamil Nadu can apply for the test. The TLAT 2023 examination will be conducted at all district capitals on the basis of the Tamil Nadu government's Class 10 standard syllabus.
The TLAT 2023 result will be announced in November 2023. The selected candidates will be eligible for admission to the various undergraduate and postgraduate Tamil language courses offered by the universities and colleges in Tamil Nadu.
The difficulty level of the the exam is moderate. The exam will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format.
