Tamil Nadu AYUSH Admissions 2026: Deadline to apply for MD yoga, naturopathy courses extended to September 10

The Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy (DIMH) has extended the deadline for Tamil Nadu AYUSH admissions to MD (Yoga and naturopathy) degree courses to September 10. Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate medical degree courses for the academic year 2026-27 can apply through the official website at tnayushselection.org.

The application for admission to MD homeopathy programmes at various Tamil Nadu medical colleges will be open until September 10 up to 5 pm.

The directorate has open applications for admission to government quota seats in government Yoga and naturopathy medical colleges and seats surrendered to the government by self-financing yoga and naturopathy medical colleges.

Candidates can also get admission to management quota seats in self-financing yoga and naturopathy medical colleges through the admission process.

“Applications will be accepted through online mode only. Applications will not be accepted any other mode other than Online mode under any circumstances,” the official notification read.

The duration of the MD in yoga and naturopathy degree course is 3 years. Participating colleges include government yoga and naturopathy medical colleges, self-financing yoga and naturopathy medical colleges.

Those who are willing to apply under special category should submit the hard copy of their online application form along with the relevant supportive documents.

For special category, candidates should send their documents at “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106” on or before September 10 up to 5 pm.
