Tamil Nadu Class 10th public exam 2025 ends; results for 9 lakh students expected by second week of May

TN 10th public exam 2025 was held from March 28 to April 15. The SSLC result for around 9 lakh students will be hosted on the official website, www.dge.tn.gov.in.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu held the last TN SSLC public exam 2025 today. Over 9 lakh students register for the Tamil Nadu Class 10th board exam 2025 every year. Students can expect the TN SSLC results 2025 by second week of May, as per the previous years’ result date trends.
The DGE TN Class 10 public exam March-April 2025 was conducted from March 28 to April 15. Students appeared for part 1 language, part 2 English, science, social science, and mathematics papers. The practical exams were also completed in February.
Students will have to obtain a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks to be declared pass. Those who failed in one or more subjects will be allowed to appear in compartment exams to improve marks. Rechecking and retotalling facilities will also be provided after the TN SSLC result declaration.
A total of 9,08,080 students registered for the exam and recorded an overall pass percentage of 91.55% last year. Students performance in 2024 improved by just 0.16 percentage points compared to 2023.

Tamil Nadu 10th board result date and time 2025
The Tamil Nadu 10th result date and time 2025 is expected to be announced by the DGN TN board soon. As per past trends, the results are expected to be out in the second week of May. The board will host the TN Board result link on the official website, tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. Know when the DGN TN 10th results were declared in the last 7 years.
