Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2021 dates revised as MCC modified AIQ counselling schedule

Check NowNEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has revised the online state National Eligibility cum Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2021) counselling schedule after the Medical Counselling Commission (MCC) extended the round 1 allotment schedule.
As per the new NEET UG Counselling 2021 dates, candidates can fill choices and make payments for NEET All India Quota (AIQ) counselling 2021 round 1 allotment at mcc.nic.in till January 30. While seat processing of NEET UG 2021 Counselling will take place on January 31. NEET UG Counselling final result will be declared on February 1.
The MCC extended the dates and pulled down the provisional NEET counselling round one result on January 27 due to a hearing on “Gidla Bala Surya Chandra and others vs Union of India and others before the High Court of Madras”.
In compliance with the revised NEET AIQ counselling schedule, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education has extended the Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling registration and payment facility from January 30 till February 1, 2022. Choice filling and locking facility will be made available for candidates from February 2 to 5, 2022, at tnmedicalselection.org.
Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2021 instructions
- Candidates who are participating the online counselling for MBBS, BDS degree courses will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 500 online as a processing fee, via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking, the official notice read.
- NEET counselling seat matrix for the course will be available on the official websites.
- Selection committee does not take responsibility of Connectivity error.
- Admission to MBBS/BDS Degrees courses shall be made by the online counselling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.

- Candidates who are absent at the scheduled time and date of online counselling will not be considered for admission. However, the selection committee reserves the right to permit the candidate to attend the online counselling, if a valid reason for absence is communicated to the
- Selection Committee. The candidate so permitted can only claim the course and college available at the time of online counselling when they actually attend.
- Once the candidate locks his/her choice during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later. Request for change of Branch / College, from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised.
