Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 round 2 counselling schedule revised; seat matrix

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The selection committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu has revised the second round of Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 counselling. As per the revised schedule, candidates can exercise the choice-filling process for the Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 round 2 counselling till September 23 through the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
“In view of the anticipated addition of seats (due to the resignation of the candidate) choice filling for round 2 has been extended till 23.09.2024 5 pm. Choice locking for round 2 will be enabled after 20.09.2024 at 10 am,” the official notice read.
As per the official notice, candidates can participate in round 2 choice filling following the registration process. Those who wish to upgrade their options, as well as those who were not allotted a seat or did not join previously, are required to complete this process. Candidates should exercise caution while selecting their choices and are advised to choose only their preferred colleges.
Candidates can edit their choices, but once they lock their choices during the online counselling, they will not be able to make any changes afterwards. If a candidate is re-allotted a seat in round 2, the MBBS, BDS seat originally allotted to them in round 1 will be offered to other candidates in descending order, not ascending order.
As per the revised schedule, Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 provisional results for round 2 will be announced on September 25, 2024. The final results for round 2 will be declared on September 26, 2024. The last date for joining in round 2 will be October 5, 2024.

Candidates can check the tentative vacancy for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree courses in government colleges for the 2024-2025 academic year as of September 10, 2024, from the table below.
