TANCET 2026 counselling registration begins for MBA, MCA admissions; apply by June 30

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu, has opened the registration portal for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 counselling for Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) admissions today, June 4. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form for TANCET counselling 2026 through the official website, tn-mbamca.com.

According to the schedule, the TANCET counselling registration window will close on June 30. The TANCET rank list for MBA and MCA admissions will be published on July 15.
During the TANCET 2026 counselling registration, candidates will have to upload certificates. To complete the TANCET counselling registration, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 800, while reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 400.
The general TANCET counselling for MBA and MCA admissions will be conducted online. However, counselling for differently-abled candidates under the special reservation category, supplementary counselling, and SCA-to-SC conversion counselling will be held offline at the Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore.

TANCET 2026 seat allotment
If a candidate is allotted a seat during the allotment process, four options (Accept and Join, Accept and Upward, Decline and Upward, and Decline and Quit) will be displayed. The candidate must confirm the allotted seat within two days of the allotment date. If the seat is not confirmed within the given time, the allotted seat will be cancelled.
Candidates who do not join the allotted college after participating in online counselling can apply for a refund. In such cases, 80% of the initial counselling fee will be refunded if the request is submitted on or before December 31, 2026.
