TAPMI records 100% placement for PGDM batch with highest salary at Rs 32.2 lakh

TAPMI Placement 2022: A total of 501 PGDM graduates were hired. The institute maintained its 100% placement record this year too.
NEW DELHI: T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal announced that it has achieved 100% placement for its postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) batch 2020-22. All students of PGDM- General, PGDM-Banking and Financial Services, PGDM-Marketing who registered for TAPMI placement were offered jobs and the institute saw the highest salary package at Rs 32.2 lakh.
As per the TAPMI placement report, 388 students of the PGDM-General who participated in the placement drive got hired by 101 companies. The average salary was Rs 12.5 lakh and the highest salary at Rs 25.6 lakh. The salary up-turn was 3.36 times more than the previous year. The key recruiters were AB InBev, Accenture, Citigroup, Airtel, Bluestone, Cognizant etc.
A total of 59 students of PGDM- Banking and Financial Services were hired, as per the TAPMI placement 2022 report. PGDM-BKFS got the highest salary package of the batch - Rs 32.2 lakh - and the average salary was Rs 12.6 lakh.
USI risk and Financial Advisory Consultant, management trainee, analyst - financial operations, research analyst, mobilization risk and compliance, functional consultant are the key job profiles for which students were hired. The top recruiters were Accenture, Deloitte, JP Morgan, ICICI Bank, Citi Bank etc.
While PGDM-Marketing saw an average salary of Rs 11.6 lakh and the highest CTC at Rs 18 lakh. It also saw a 12.5% CTC growth, compared to last year. All 54 graduates of the programme got placed.

Moreover, 43 PGDM- Human Resource Management students were placed with the highest CTC of Rs 23.6 lakh and average CTC of Rs 12.1 lakh. The top recruiters were Accenture, CAP Gemini, Ceipal, CGI, Cognizant, Deloitte, HCL, IBM, Virtusa, etc. The key job profiles for which students were hired are analyst, consultant, management trainee, research analyst, associate consultant, specialist (human resources) among others.
Last year for the academic year 2019-20, a total of 444 graduates who participated in the TAPMI placement were hired and the institute recorded 100 percent placement, according to data shared with the National Institutional Ranking Framework
