TBJEE announces TJEE 2026 results; first-ever cut-off rule excludes candidates scoring below 10 marks
The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) announced the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) result 2026 on the official website of TBJEE at tbjee.tripura.gov.in. The TJEE exam 2026 was conducted on April 22, 2026.
A total of 4,731 applications were received for the examination, including 2,769 candidates from the General category, 1,133 from ST, and 829 from SC categories. In the PCM group, 1,864 candidates appeared for the exam, while the PCB group recorded 3,873 candidates.
For the first time, authorities introduced a minimum qualifying cut-off, requiring candidates to score at least 10 marks out of 360 to be considered eligible, TBJEE chairman Suvadip Paul told HT.
1,745 candidates secured places in the PCM merit list, while 119 students were excluded for failing to meet the cut-off marks. In the PCB stream, 3,684 candidates featured in the merit list, whereas 189 candidates were left out after scoring below 10 marks.

TBJEE result 2026: Steps to download
Applicants can follow these steps to access their results:
- Go to the official TBJEE website at tbjee.tripura.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the “TBJEE 2026 Result” link
- Log in using the registration number and password
- The TBJEE 2026 scorecard/rank card will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save the result for future reference
- Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy for counselling and admission procedures
