Telangana govt implements half day in all schools till last working day of 2021-22

All primary, upper primary, and senior classes in government, aided, and private schools will function from 8:30am to 12:30pm starting from March 15.
NEW DELHI: The Telangana education department has implemented a half day for all classes in government, government-aided and private schools in the state starting from March 15 onwards till the last working day of 2021-22 session. All primary, upper primary and high schools will function from 8:30 am to 12:30pm.

“All the regional joint directors of school education and district educational officers in the state are hereby informed that half day schools will commence from March 15 onwards till the last working day of the academic year 2021-22. The schools, that is, primary, upper primary and high schools under all managements - government, government aided and private management shall function from 8 am to 12:30 pm,” said an official notification from the school education department of Telangana.
The mid-day meals will be provided at 12:30pm, the education department added. “The special classes will continue for preparing Class 10 students for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) public examinations, May 2022,” it further said.

The Telangana school education department has released the Class 10 or SSC timetable on the official website, tsbie.cgg.gov.in. As per the Telangana SSC timetable 2022, the exams for Class 10 will begin from May 11 and conclude on May 20, 2022. The board will conduct the TS SSC Class 10 exam from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm.
