NEW DELHI: The Telangana Higher Education Department has begun the registration for the recruitment of Telangana District Selection Committee (TS DSC) teachers in the state. Eligible candidates should fill out the application form by April 2 through the official website, tsdsc.aptonline.in.

The revised recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 11,062 vacancies for School Assistants (SA), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), Language Pandits (LP) and Physical Education Teachers (PET) in the state.

Out of these vacancies 4,957 posts are reserved for direct recruitment teacher posts under various categories in government and local body schools in the state. Additionally, 796 posts are reserved for Special Education Teachers (SET) at the primary level and 220 posts for SET at upper primary, secondary levels in government and local body schools.

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for each post. In the earlier notification, the government of Telangana informed that the notification issued on September 5, 2023, for the recruitment of 5,089 teachers posts has been cancelled.

The TS DSC recruitment 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode in eleven districts including Mahaboobnagar, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Sanga Reddy.

TS DSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility for the TS DSC recruitment exam 2024 given below.

Age limit: The candidate's age should be between 18 years old to 46 years old as of July 1, 2023. However, upper-age relaxation applies to the candidates of reserved categories.

Educational qualification: A candidate for selection to the post of teachers should possess the academic and professional, training qualifications as directed in the notification.

Candidates should also possess an intermediate certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana or other equivalent certificates recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana. Post-wise education qualification is given in the information bulletin.
