TSLAS offers admissions to four undergraduate programmes in liberal arts and sciences.
NEW DELHI : Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS) has started the admission process for the academic session 2021-22. Candidates who wish to take admissions to UG programmes offered by the school can fill their applications till the submission deadline. The mode of application is only online.
Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers admissions to courses including BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences, BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences, BBA in Liberal Arts and Sciences and BCom in Liberal Arts and Sciences
The admissions to the undergraduate programmes are done by considering past academic records, online test performance and personal interviews. Students must meet the minimum requirement of 60% and above total marks in high school diploma (10 +2). If available, SAT, AP and IB scores will be given due consideration.
The online test comprises questions from personal information, interests and general awareness and written essays demonstrating command of the English language, and critical and creative writing skills. The online test will be followed by an online attitude-cum-aptitude test. The last selection round will be a personal interview round, which includes personal interaction with a selection committee composed of esteemed professors and scholars from TSLAS.
Eligibility criteria
Those candidates who have passed Class 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC or ST candidates) in aggregate of any three subjects (One of the subjects must be English) are eligible to apply for Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
In case a candidate holds an extraordinary achievement record in areas, including sports, music, dance, painting, social work, software development etc. with passing marks in their 10+2 examination are also eligible for admissions. A three-year diploma after Class 10th or 10+2 is also considered.
