TN Police department invites applications for SI, head constable posts; apply by December 17

Tamil Nadu Police Department will recruitment a total of 51 candidates, including 10 sub-inspector and 41 head constable posts in coastal security group, as per official notice.
The Tamil Nadu Police Department has opened registrations for sub inspector of police and head constable posts in coastal security group, Tamil Nadu. The applications are open for ex-Indian coast guard, ex-Indian Navy personnel below 50 years of age as on December 1, 2025.
Eligible candidates can send their applications along with supportive documents to the additional director general of police, coastal security, DCP office Campus, Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai, Mylapore, Chennai-4 by post before December 17, 2025.
There are only 10 posts for Sub Inspector of Police and 41 vacancies for head constable in the Tamil Nadu Police Department, according to official notice.

“Applications are invited from Ex-Indian Coast Guard / Ex-Indian Navy personnel of below 50 years as on 01.12.2025 to work in Coastal Security Group, Tamil Nadu on yearly contract basis (extendable, if required) for operating and maintenance of Fast Interceptor Boats of Coastal Security Group, Tamil Nadu,” the official notice reads.
As per the selection criteria, eligible candidates will be invited for certificate verification, written and viva-voce tests through individual call letters.
