TN SSLC, HSE Result 2026 soon; how to download marks memo

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, will declare the TN Class 10 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results soon. As per the official result portal, tnresults.nic.in, the results will be published “soon.” While the exact date and time of the announcement are not yet clear, it indicates that the results may be released any day now.

This year over 9 lakh students appeared in the Tamil Nadu board exams held between March 10 and April 6, 2026. The exam was conducted smoothly across various centres under strict monitoring. A press conference will be conducted to announce the results, pass percentage, district-wise performance, and gender-wise results. Following the pattern, class 12 results can be expected anytime after SSLC results.

In the previous academic year (2024–25), Tamil Nadu recorded a strong performance with an overall pass percentage of 93.8%. Girls once again outperformed boys, continuing the trend of higher female pass rates in the state board examinations.

Once the results are declared, students can check their marks online by following these steps:

• On homepage, look for “TN SSLC Result 2026” link
• Enter your registration number and date of birth
• Cross-check and submit the details to view the result
• Download and take printout of provisional marksheets

On the result day, the official websites may become slow or stop working for a short time due to heavy traffic. In such cases, students should wait for a few minutes and try again.
