TNEA 2024 random number out for engineering admission; verification begins tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has assigned random numbers for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA 2024) registered candidates. Random numbers have been generated and are available to view for students those who made payment at the official website, tneaonline.org. As per the schedule, the certificate verification at Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Facilitation Centre(TFC) will be done between June 13 to June 30.
The registered candidates are assigned TNEA 2024 random numbers to break ties and it can be viewed by clicking the ‘status’ tab through the candidate login window. Certificate verification will be done online at the TFCs for the eligible candidates. However, certificates for sports persons alone will be verified in-person at Chennai.
After the verification of documents, the directorate will prepare the TNEA first merit list for admission to government and government-aided engineering colleges, university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University.

The Tamil Nadu engineering admission first rank list will be published on July 10, as per the schedule . Following this, candidates will be given one week time from July 11 to July 20 for redressing the grievances in the rank list. “Grievances redressal will be in-person and applicants can contact Office of Secretary, TNEA, Directorate of Technical Education or nearby TFCs,” it said.
TNEA counselling 2024 will have three rounds and the process includes four stages - choice filling, seat allotment, confirmation of allotment and reporting to college or TFC, and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation.
